Rachel Hughes
Hi my name is Rachel Hughes and this is my freshman year at Bloomsburg. I am majoring in psychology but I think I want to switch my major to criminal justice. Before I came to Bloomsburg I went to Minersville Area Junior/Senior High School. I lived in Minersville my whole life and it's not that far away from Bloomsburg, it's about forty five minutes to an hour away. I always enjoyed playing volleyball with my friends in my free time but never joined the actual team at my school. I always wanted to be a cheerleader but i never tried out and i regret it so much. When I was a freshman I played softball and that year we won a state championship but after that season I lost interest in playing and decided to not go out after that season. I was always the girl to be seen at athletic events such as football games, basketball games, and baseball games. I really enjoyed being involved and cheering in student sections and supporting all of the athletic teams. My interests other than athletics would be hanging out with my friends, watching Netflix, going on bush rides, riding four wheelers, etc. This class interests me a lot because a lot of the Netflix series I watch are about monsters and the supernatural. Some of my favorite shows are The Originals, The Vampire Diaries, The Secret Circle, and Scream the TV show. Personality wise I am a pretty outgoing person and at first I can be shy but once you get to know me I never shut up.
