Lilo & Stitch- Jumba

Jumba Jookiba

In Lilo & Stitch, Jumba Jookiba is the mad scientist. Jumba is an evil scientist that experiments and creates genetic creatures. After he creates this creature, the creature and himself get arrested and put in an prison in outer space. The creature escapes to an island on Earth, and Jumba must find the creation to be set free. Jumba and an expert agent go to go Earth to try and capture his creation; they go through ups and downs trying to capture him. The "creature" is adopted by a young girl named Lilo, she then names him Stitch and takes him home as her pet dog; stitch does not act like a normal girl and Lilo realizes that. When Jumba goes to capture Stitch, he fails and gets Lilo captured instead, and then Jumba and Stitch have to go and save Lilo. Stitch was created to be a monster, but turned out to be something more than that.

Who Is Jumba?

Jumba Jookiba is a mad scientist. He is not human, but a large four eyed creature. He is a mad scientist because he experiments and creates  monsters/creatures. He has all the physical features and stereo types of a typical mad evil scientist. He is a selfish in a way that he only wants to capture the creature to set himself free, when he was in prison for something that he did himself. Jumba went to prison for the creation of his monster, "experiment 626."

Stitch, experiment 626.

The Purpose

The purpose of Jumba's creation was an genetic experimentation. Stitch was the first of a new species. He created Stitch to be unstoppable and a monster. While Jumba was trying to find Stitch on Earth, he said to the expert agent that "he was designed to be a monster but has nothing to destroy." Stitch is not the only creature that Jumba created, which might be why Stitch is numbered #626.

Jumba's Interactions

When Jumba first got caught and sent to prison, he felt like he did nothing wrong. When he gets to Earth, he puts on a mean and tough front to try and capture Stitch. All he is focused on his trying to get Stitch, he doesn't care what has to happen to try and get him; he is also not following any of the rules the council gave him to capture him. At the end of the film, we see that Jumba has a genuine side to him. Since Lilo gets capture and brought to space, Jumba, Stitch and Lilos sister have to go rescue her. Jumba and Stitch come up with a plan and work together to get her back. The impact he had in the story was that he only cared for himself but then turned around and helped out other characters.

The moral issue in this story is the idea of friendship. Jumba created Stitch to be a genetic monster, but instead he created the perfect friend for a little girl. Jumba's choice is work turned out to actually help someone else out, which I doubt was on his mind as he was creating Stitch. Overall, you should believe that Jumba is a mad scientist because he creates things in hope for them to not be good in society. He did want to create Stitch to be a monster and a destroyer. Even though stitch did turn out differently, he did have hopes of a complete monster.
