The Perfect Fit For a Mad Scientist

       In the movie Austin Powers: The Spy Who Shagged Me, and in all Austin Powers movies, Dr. Evil is the mad scientist. His goal in this movie is to destroy every city on the planet, beginning with Washington D.C., he has an aspiration of world wide domination. Besides destroying planet earth,he builds a time machine to go back to 1967 and steal his nemesis, Austin Powers, mojo and kill him. Dr. Evil fits perfectly with the definition of a mad scientist. He is trying to become a powerful man, and with that he has others helping him to reach that goal. 

Dr. Evils Secret Volcanic Lair

Dr. Evil, as most mad scientist have a deformity, has a scar on his face starting from his eye, down to his jaw. He is bald headed, and is always wearing a gray suit. and every time he speaks, he uses quotation marks, and not the correct way by the way. Dr. Evil also has a signature move which is placing his pinky finger near the corner of his mouth. He has a volcanic lair, and the outside of his lair is shaped like his face doing the signature move. He also has a son named Scott Evil, and a clone named mini-me that looks just like him but is 1/8 his size, which means he's 1/8 evil as Dr. Evil puts it. Dr. Evil and his son Scott don't have the best relationship because his son isn't evil enough for him. Mini-me seems to make things a little worst because Dr. Evil gives all his attention to him instead of giving it to Scott. Dr. Evil has a hilarious way of dealing with those around him. 

  

Number Two is doctor evils right hand man. He's the guy that tries to keep Dr. Evil focused on what really matters. He also gets frustrated most of the time because Dr. Evil is a bit selfish when it comes to making up evil plans. Most of Dr. Evil's plans have flaws, and Number Two tries to help improve his plans, but of course Dr. Evil mocks him most of the time. For example he asks Number Two if he wants to wear the big daddy pants, meaning run the company. He made Number Two cry for trying to get on track with things. Dr. Evil also doesn't listen to his son Scott who has common sense and tries to help his father during his evil plans with ways that would help his plans succeed. Dr. Evil has a set view on how he sees his son, which again "not evil enough" he also says,"you're the diet coke of evil". He treats Mini-me as if he were his baby, and his life, basically the son he never had. He raps a song about how mini-me completes him, and he also raps how he'd want Scott to think he was a cool guy, but he would have to be evil. Just like Dr. Evils relationship with his biological son, his evil plans also never go as he plans them to be.

 Dr. Evil decides to make a time machine to get Austin Powers mojo. Austin Powers is a secret agent who is constantly there to stop Dr. Evils, evil plans. Dr. Evil succeeded in getting Powers mojo by traveling back to the 60's. While he was trying to steal the mojo, he was distracting Austin Powers with beautiful women (his weakness) to attempt in killing him. For example, Austin married a fembot, which is a female robot, and he had no idea all along. She was built to destroy Austin Powers while they were in their honeymoon, and of course that plan failed. He also plans on blowing up every major city every hour on the hour unless the president gives 100 billion dollars, then he'd stop. Because he's in the year 1967, and the current year where the president is, is 1997 that kind of money doesn't exist. Austin Powers and his partner Felicity stops Dr. Evil from destroying the world meaning, his plan failed again.

 Dr. Evil tries to make it seem like he knows it all, he is selfish, and wants to be powerful as any mad scientist wants to be. His plans fail because he doesn't let anyone give him advice on what could help to achieve his goals. Having a clone has effected his relationship even more with his son, and has created jealousy between the clone and Scott. This clearly shows how trying to maintain a work relationship with his clone and his relationship with his son at the same time can be difficult.
